MUSICAL SHAPES

Objective:

Be the last person standing on a shape when the music stops

Game Type:

Active. A lot of movement may be required.

Players:

2 or more players

Needed:

Shapes and a music source (like a tape deck)

Rules:

Place party shapes on the floor in a circle. For example if your theme is Knights the shapes could be shields, swords, and castles. Children walk around circle while listening to party music. If the music is loud the children move fast. If the music is quiet the children move slow. If the music stops, the children stop on the closest shape. Have one less shape than the number of children. Whoever is not on a shape gets a small prize and is "out". Continue remove shapes as the children are 'out' until only one is left.
