SNAP

Objective:

Similar to Slap Jack but with verbal outbursts.

Game Type:

Passive. Little or no movement is required.

Players:

2 to 6 players

Needed:

Standard deck of cards

Dealing:

The whole deck of cards is dealt out to the players who place their cards in a stack, face down on the table. They can also be held in your hand if you want. Looking at the faces of the cards is not allowed.

Rules:

Starting with the dealer, each player deals one card face up in the center of the table in a single discard stack, making a pile of cards. The players should pick up their cards from the top of their stack with the card facing away from themselves. This keeps each player who plays a card from having an unfair advantage over the others at the table. This is continued around the table until one player deals a card on top of another player's card which is of the same color and value, e.g. a seven of spades played on a seven of clubs or a jack of hearts played on top of a jack of diamonds. When this happens the first player to call out "Snap" wins the whole stack. This player now adds the cards in the discard stack to the bottom of the packet of cards he already holds.

Winning:

The first player to win all the cards in the deck in the way is the winner of the games.
