LAST LETTER

Objective:

Name an animal, city or other category using the last letter of the last word.

Game Type:

Passive. Little or no movement is required.

Players:

2 to 6 players

Rules:

In this game you take turns naming animals, cities, states or virtually any category. Let's use animals as an example. A person is chosen to begin and a playing order is established. He/she starts by naming any animal. Then each person in order has to name another animal that starts with the last letter of the last animal named. When someone can't name an animal they are out and the remaining players continue with a new category chosen by the new leader.

Rhythm:

If the group is older you can play the game in rhythm. 4/4 count with two slaps on you knees, one clap and one pause works well. Start slowly so that everyone has time to think about what the last letter of the previous word is!
