Hand sheets of paper to players printed with the following text:
"You're given a sheet of paper with 15 words - the names of cereals, vegetables, fruit printed on them. Exchange 14 of your words (keeping one for yourself) by tearing them off the sheet and exchanging with other players for their words. Gather a complete set of words with the following names: wheat, rye, oats, barley, millet, flax, corn, potato, cabbage, beetroot, carrot, pumpkin, cherries, apples, pears. The player who has the complete set of words first is given the prize. "
On each sheet of paper printed the text above and then the same word 15 times leaving enough spacing so that each word can be torn off the page. Each player will have a sheet with a different set of 15 words, for example, one player will have a sheet with the word "flax" 15 times, another with the word "corn" 15 times and another with the word "pears" 15 times etc. If there are more than fifteen players (the minimum number needed for this game, you can either double up on some words (i.e.. Two players might have sheets with the word "flax") or you can add to the list by including another grain or fruit etc. However, keep in mind that the more different words there are, the longer it will take for a person to meet and exchanges will all other players. 15 seems to be about the right number.
