| Rules: | Don't disclose this till the announcement. Just before five minutes until the clock strikes 12:00 midnight, ask each of the guests to write a funny one line resolution once the clock strikes midnight. Make sure they know that they want it to be FUNNY! The writing has to be started at the first chime and finished by the time the twelve chimes come to a stop. See how many can finish it off by the stipulated time. Supply a pencil and a sheet of paper to each participant. Make the seating arrangement in such a way that you can watch each one. Make sure that all start writing not before the clock strikes its first chime for the midnight and stops the moment 12 chimes are complete. Later ask each one to read out the resolution in turn. The one that raises the maximum laughter is the winner. |
